These terms apply to readings and follow-up questions purchased at thequietcards.com ("The Quiet Cards", "we", "us"). By placing an order you agree to them.

1. What the service is

The Quiet Cards is a service for reflection and entertainment. Each reading is generated by artificial intelligence ("our AI reader") from a random draw of a 78-card tarot deck and from the text you write in the order form. No human psychic, medium or reader writes your reading, and we will never say otherwise.

A reading is not a prediction. It does not tell you what anyone will do, feel or decide, and it is not a statement of fact about you or anyone else.

2. Not professional advice

Readings are not a substitute for professional advice of any kind, including medical, psychological, legal or financial advice. Do not rely on a reading to make decisions about your health, safety, legal situation or money. If you are in danger or crisis, contact local emergency services or a support line: in the US, call or text 988; in the UK, Samaritans on 116 123; for violence or abuse, RAINN on 1-800-656-4673.

3. No guaranteed outcome

We do not guarantee any result, outcome or accuracy. You are responsible for what you decide to do after reading.

4. Age

You must be 18 or older to order. By ordering you confirm you are.

5. Delivery

Readings are delivered by email to the address used at checkout, normally within 60 minutes of payment, or within 15 minutes if you add priority delivery. Follow-up questions are answered within 15 minutes and are based on your most recent reading delivered to the same email in the previous 60 days. Delivery times are targets, not guarantees; if a reading is late, tell us and we'll refund it on request.

6. Safety

If what you write describes violence, abuse, self-harm, a crisis, or a minor in a romantic context, we will not write a reading. We will send you support resources instead and refund your order in full.

7. Your content and data

You keep ownership of what you write. You give us permission to use it only to generate and deliver your reading and follow-ups, and to provide support. Form data is kept for 90 days and then deleted. See our Privacy Policy for details, including the service providers involved.

Please don't include information that identifies other people beyond a first name, or any sensitive information you don't want processed.

8. Refunds

If a reading doesn't land, tell us within 30 days and we refund it in full, no questions asked. Write to hello@thequietcards.com.

9. Acceptable use

Don't use the service to harass, surveil or harm anyone, or to submit unlawful content. We may refuse or refund any order at our discretion.

10. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be excluded.

11. Changes

We may update these terms; the version in force when you ordered applies to that order.
